Lovely to have you here! On this page we have summarised everything important about your order from Windy Weave – as clearly as possible. If you order on our English pages, these English terms apply.

1. Who these terms apply to

These general terms and conditions apply to all orders in our online shop – whether you buy from us privately or for business. We do not accept differing terms.

2. Who we are

3. How your order is concluded

The socks in our shop are not yet a binding offer but an invitation to order. When you click the order button in the final step, you place a binding order for the items in your basket. You will then receive an email confirming that we have received your order. The purchase contract is concluded as soon as we confirm your order by email or send the socks to you.

4. Language and contract text

The contract is concluded in English or German – in the language in which you place your order. We will email you your order details and these terms so you can read everything at your leisure.

5. Prices and shipping

All prices are final prices including statutory VAT. And best of all: shipping is free for you.

6. Payment

You simply pay with one of the payment methods shown during checkout. Payment is due when the purchase contract is concluded.

7. Delivery

We deliver your socks to the address you give when ordering. You can see how long delivery takes during checkout.

8. Retention of title

The socks remain our property until we have received your payment in full.

9. Your right of withdrawal

If you are not happy, as a consumer you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days – without giving any reason. The exact rules are set out in the following withdrawal policy. Its wording is prescribed by law, which is why it sounds a little more formal.

Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Windy Weave, 61 Bridge Street, HR5 3DJ Kington, United Kingdom, reachable via our contact form) by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or a message via our contact form) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your notice of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we must refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs arising from your choice of a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days of the day on which we received notice of your withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to Windy Weave, 61 Bridge Street, HR5 3DJ Kington, United Kingdom, without undue delay and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period expires. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss is due to handling them in a way that was not necessary to check their nature, characteristics and functioning.

10. Warranty

If anything is ever wrong with your socks, the statutory warranty rights of course apply.
